Dance Artist Internship

The goal of Caroline's Creative Initiatives is to provide youth across Kawartha Lakes with accessible arts development opportunities. One way Caroline does this is by teaming up with local businesses across Kawartha Lakes to provide a free pre-professional contemporary dance intensive training program.

Each Dance Artist Performance Internship provided 20+ hours of free contemporary dance technique and performance training with Caroline Bentley, culminating in a performance at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre in Peterborough ON. The shows featured performances by the interns as well as professional contemporary dancers from across Canada recruited to work with the program. Previous professional dance performers involved in the program are Maggie Armstrong, Aryana Malekzadeh, Zachary Cardwell, Steph Harkness, Jianna Neufeld, and Gwendolyn Mitchell. ​​
